Manager / Writer Jobs description
A manager writer is responsible for performing advanced technical writing work. Specific duties of a writing manager include composing, organizing, and editing compiled information; working under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment; overseeing, reviewing, and editing technical documents, materials, and reports; developing, and implementing best practices and procedures for written documents; approving the work of trainee writers; ensuring that the documents are delivered as per schedule; assisting with development and conducting training courses; attending and chairing meetings as well as supervising the work of others. A manager writer typically reports to the writing director.A manager writer should have a bachelor’s degree in mass communications or a relevant area. A master’ degree is advantageous. Several years of experience in writing are essential. Excellent writing skills are a must.
