Director / Writer Jobs description
A director writer is responsible for directing the efforts of the entire writing or editing division. Specific duties of a director writer include providing motivation and leadership to the writing division; assigning various writing projects to different teams in the division; allocating resources for supporting the writing projects undertaken by the division; supervising the entire division; ensuring that specific productivity goals are met by all the divisional members; ensuring that the documents are delivered as per schedule; acting as interface between the senior management and the operational level employees; being responsible for all the success of all the projects with the department and performing other tasks as required. A director writer typically reports to the vice president.A director writer should have a bachelor’s degree in mass communications or a relevant area. A master’ degree may also be required. Several years of experience in managing a writing team are essential.
