Business Writer Jobs
A business writer is responsible for composing, editing and proofreading documents, articles or news items relating to domestic or global businesses. Specific duties of a business writer include performing research in various business areas in order to get the most updates; regularly going through business magazines, news papers, websites or blogs; gathering information on specific topics; writing drafts on business issues; getting the drafts approved from senior business writers or writing manager; assisting the writing manager; working on special projects; meeting client deadlines and performing other tasks as required. A business writer typically reports to a writing manager.
A business writer should have an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree. Excellent academic credentials are essential. Prior experience working as a business writer may be helpful. Excellent writing skills are essential for a business writer position.
