Web Writer Jobs
A web writer position may be available with an online marketing agency or a web portal. A web writer is responsible for writing various articles for firm’s web portals or those of clients. Specific duties of a web writer position include working on several projects at a time, meeting project deadlines, understanding the needs of clients to diplomatically prioritize objectives, writing consistent content for their company; managing content requests and submitting deliverables on defined timelines, providing superior customer visibility and service throughout, maintaining knowledge of both product features and company’s business goals, making use of various writing support tools and performing other tasks assigned by the supervisor. Typically a web wrter reports to a lead content manager.
A web writer should have a bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree. A qualification in journalism or mass communications is advantageous. Excellent writing skills are essential for a web writer position.
