Education Writer Jobs
An education writer position may be available with a publishing house, media agency, training institute or the government education department. An education writer is responsible for writing books, pamphlets, training documents, booklets and other documents for educational purpose. Specific duties of an education writer include gaining in-depth knowledge or literature on the specific topic; composing, editing and proofreading articles or units; checking for conceptual correctness and clarity; resolving issues consulting the writing manager; providing training to junior writers; meeting deadlines and ensuring client satisfaction; ensuring that the write-up are readable and performing other tasks as required. An education writer typically reports to a writing manager.
An education writer should have an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree. Excellent academic credentials are essential. Prior experience working as an education writer may be helpful. Ability to use Microsoft Office applications is essential.
