Documentation Writer Jobs
A documentation writer position may be available with the federal government, state government, a regulatory body, legal department or a similar department. A documentation writer is responsible for working on various legislative, regulatory or educational documentation projects. Specific duties of a documentation writer include coordinating with regulatory bodies; understanding the requirements of clients; writing, editing and proofreading various documents written by self and others; enusuring that the documentation process is in line with organizational values; keeping updated on various grammatical and usage changes; making use of various writing tools and performing other tasks as required. A documentation writer typically reports to a writing manager.
A documentation writer should have an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in a relevant area. Excellent academic credentials are essential. Prior experience working as a documentation writer may be helpful. Familiarity with the use of Microsoft Office applications is essential.
