The Cloud Authorization Engineer role supports support complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You will support multiple projects with internal customers and will be a critical component of ushering documentation deliverables through an entire project lifecycle. This includes self-management skills to maintain project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects may span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it will be your job to communicate clearly on the progress of project documentation deliverables and meeting cloud certification deadlines. You will have multiple certifications that you will be working with and coordinating on across the organization and must be able to task between, and understand each authorization boundary. You may be tasked with Continuous Monitoring of one or multiple certifications.In this role, you are responsible for ensuring each certification that the Global Certification Team (GCT) is compliant with relevant regulatory and certification security requirements (e.g. FISMA, FedRAMP, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HITRUST, CJIS, C5, SOC, etc.). You will work closely with engineering, security, compliance, internal audit, and the project management office as well as other stakeholders such as accrediting agencies and customers to analyze, define, and verify current and future compliance solutions and acceptance in the marketplace. You will work with lead GCT engineers to understand current and evolving certification requirements mapping these requirements to each product's current and future suite of offerings in an effort to determine fit and assess our compliance readiness. You will perform, on an ongoing basis, quality reviews, rewrites, and editing of a wide-range of IT security domain related documentation. Consulting with the GCT, you should have a clear understanding of at least one major certification framework (ISO27001, FedRAMP, PCI DSS, SOC2, HITRUST, or CJIS). The ideal candidate should also understand cloud authorization processes, as well as the NIST and FISMA or ISO 27001 domains. You will be expected to demonstrate a basic competency within some of these areas. * Work with multiple stakeholders (internal and external) across product lines to coordinate with teams around each certification. * Provide input for reports that track planning, scheduling, issues, risks, and overall status. * Assist with technical issues or advise on control requirements as needs arise. * Translate complex concepts and solutions into multiple types of documents (requirements, compliance, System Security Plans (SSPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), test results, etc.)About Aerotek: We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
