HYG is looking for an energetic individual who will have a positive influence on the Marketing team. As the Content Developer
you will create world class Yale, Hyster and UTILEV, product sales, educational and promotional collateral for use by dealer and corporate sales and training entities. Assist brand managers with the direction of multiple internal personnel and external suppliers for simultaneous, ongoing projects. These activities will include product photography sessions, copywriting, creative input for existing and new /revised product sales and training packages. Will help define marketing messages, and lead the creation of sales and promotional copy. Strong written communication skills a must. Product or mechanical knowledge would be helpful as well. Support the Brand Manager and Product Marketing Specialist in specific activities to increase market share gain as required by the corporate strategy.
Content Developer Will
Provide the Following Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for the development of marketing, sales, and training collateral used to support all Yale, Hyster and UTILEV products.
Needs Assessment and Analysis -- Serve as liaison for the Hyster and Yale brand marketing unit and attend / review tactical and strategic product meetings.
Manage and schedule both studio and application photography/video sessions as well as digital creation efforts.
Provide content support for dealer meetings, training sessions and company events.
Will Meet the Following Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS degree, Marketing, Communications or related field of study strongly preferred.
With degree, minimum 3 years of relevant experience in industrial truck market/related business or industrial, technical or manufacturing business. Without degree, 8 to 10 years of experience.
Must have extensive experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of tools, including, but not limited to Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Premier Pro.
Supervision of internal/external suppliers (Multimedia Department, custom CD software suppliers) and ability to establish and document procedures.
Business experience or on-the-job training.
Writing, scripting, program development and evaluating skills. Excellent grammar/writing skills are a must
Communication/listening skills, presentation skills, and business meeting management.
Product knowledge: both truck features and end-user applications. Must be able to understand truck features, and how to apply to Customer applications.
Able to evaluate performance objectives
Must be able to work with minimal supervision and direct projects rather than be directed.
