Vector Talent is seeking a Marketing Content Writer to support the Communications and Outreach Lead.
Write a wide range of amazing, compelling, engaging, original content that shares company vision: web copy, ad copy, landing pages, case studies, email campaigns, blog posts, social posts, and so much more. These incredible pieces will be optimized for both share-ability and provide paths to conversion.
Work with subject matter experts and capture their knowledge in a captivating way for specific target audiences.
Write for a wide array of audiences within the field of education--including teachers, administrators, educational business leaders, policymakers, and parents.
Authentically capture leadership's voice, and that of the organization's brand. Ensure all content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone.
Maintain an editorial calendar that informs the whole team of what's going on.
Serve as the personal writing whiz/content-marketing-thought-leader: advising on the best ways to share company story in every possible way and keeping teams up-to-date on the best content marketing trends (and telling which ones to avoid). Work to develop new strategies to help content channels grow to new heights.
Uses data to guide creativity. Oversee the success of our marketing content on various channels, and let that data drive decisions.
Be a team player working with other incredible marketing team members
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the liberal arts and an ability to incorporate that knowledge into one's writing.
Proven experience in writing for a variety of formats; including brand proposition, marketing message (top as well as bottom of the marketing funnel), thought leadership (articles, op-ed, POV content), website copy, collateral marketing materials and newsletter campaigns, press releases, white papers, corporate capability pieces, blogs, op-eds, and speeches (scholarly, business and public audiences), etc.
Experience in publishing work in both traditional and digital media is desired.
Experience in the education sector preferred
