Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is seeking two Digital Content Writer - Consultants in Madison, Wisconsin (WI).\r
The consultant is a digital content development expert who focuses on best practice, engaging direct response copy that moves people to action in transactional and consumer communication emails. The role will collaborate with multiple departments including Consumer Experience, Billing and Payments, and Consumer Sales. They provide input regarding strategy, analyzes and identify problems, researches and collects data, assists in managing project deadlines. They recommend solutions, utilizing knowledge of best practice principles or technology of specific discipline or field of specialization. One consults with client to ascertain define need or problem areas plus determine scope of investigation required to obtain solution. The consultants analyze information to define solution and examine alternate methods as well.\r
Essential Job Functions:\r
Deliverables may include but are not limited to: researching and reporting competitor/industry review of best practices, and understanding the customer journey for drafting or confirming content for transactional and customer communication email\r
Leverages an in-depth understanding of brand positioning, internal processes, and product benefits to simplify communication for the customer and drives business results\r
Develops concepts, writes, edits, and proofs engaging content based upon strategic inputs, that meet objectives\r
Uses rationale to present concepts and defends work based upon strategy inputs \r
Maintains consistency within brand guidelines and in accordance with strategies\r
Ensures alignment with brand, product, production, and compliance standards\r
Proofreads work before publication\r
Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve communication of products or services and to improve the customer experience\r

Job Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, or related field\r
3-5 years of digital writing with a heavy emphasis on email in transactional and consumer journey; Agency environment preferred\r
Experience in Agile development, sprints, and methodologies a plus\r
Requires in-depth copywriting knowledge and experience with best practices focused mainly (but not limited to) writing consumer communication and transactional email\r
Strong knowledge of creative process in the delivery of digital marketing content\r
Superior copywriting and communication skills\r
Proven ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to assess strategy and translate to clear communication that gets results\r
Detail-oriented with strong project management skills \r
Creative problem-solving ability\r
Available to work on site and attend meetings in person approximately 20 hours per week\r
