The project entails optimizing site organization, updating/creating content to populate the new navigation outline, and optimizing to increase overall engagement on all sites. In support of the team, the Website Content Writer will be asked to: Re-organize existing site content to make it fit a new provided outline and navigation plan Combine duplicate content from multiple pages into a single version that will make sense and remain accurate when used in all of the original locations where the content was previously displayed Rewrite content when necessary to improve the flow, clarity, and readability of all content; Identify and suggest additional changes that will improve the quality and clarity of the content; Edit and Proofread to ensure proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation is used throughout; Remove outdated or inaccurate content as directed, smoothing the remaining content as needed; Write new content as needed based on input from stakeholders; Evaluate and modify formatting choices such as headings, paragraph breaks, sentence structure, bolding bullet lists, etc. where they will improve clarity and scannability; Identify opportunities for interlinking between site pages and changes to improve SEO value; Work as directed with supervisors and stakeholders to take all content through a review and approval process to get it ready to be published; Identify any potential concerns and bring them to the attention of supervisors.
