The creative, fun Marketing team at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. seeks a temporary Web Content Super Hero. Are you a writer who knows HTML, looking for a great team to join? Our team works hard, supports each other, and enjoys a great sense of humor.
Under direction of the Web Content Manager, the part-time Web Content Assistant will help update the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. district website. This position will respond to multiple content update requests from faculty, staff, and students.This person will have a keen eye for good content, is knowledgeable about the best HTML practices for responsiveness and web accessibility, and has outstanding attention to detail. The Web Content Assistant reports directly to the Web Content Manager.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Content Management:
Update the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. district website with new content and images upon request.
Follow established guidelines while collaborating with various content submitters to meet identified needs.
Proofread content and review HTML for compliance with accessibility and responsiveness.
Search and prepare photos for the website, including cropping, resizing or modifying with Adobe Photoshop.
Add embedded videos to the website from our YouTube channel.
Assist with additional duties as assigned by the Web Content Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS: Required Qualifications:
Six (6) months of part to full-time experience editing content for a high traffic website
Demonstrated strong writing, proofreading and copywriting and editing skills.
Knowledge of HTML, and experience with popular content management systems.
Basic Adobe Photoshop skills.
Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team.
The successful candidate must consent to and pass a criminal background check
a conditional offer of employment.
Associates degree in Journalism, Communication, English, Marketing or related field from an accredited college or university.
One (1) to two (2) years of full- time experience in writing or editing content, social media channel management, website CMS management (preferably in Drupal) or related experience.
Educational background in coding of web content, such as HTML5 and CSS.
Familiarity with web accessibility requirements and coding for responsiveness.

Terms of employment:
This is a part-time hourly position anticipated to work 65 hours per month during college terms. This is a one year position, with the potential of becoming permanent. The incumbent must be flexible and willing to work between 8am-6pm, Monday through Friday. This position is not eligible for retirement or healthcare benefits. This position will work inside in an office environment at the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Puyallup campus.
