Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Technical Writer to join an established company in the Apex area.\r\r\rResponsibilities:\r-Write technical manuals for products with input from the project leaders.\r-Analyze technical descriptions, write descriptive copy, and verify documentation with engineering, sales, and applications personnel.\r-Experience writing and organizing technical information to be translated into multiple languages.\r-Bring a uniform tone to all company communications and policies so that there is a consistent voice throughout.\r-Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.\r-Edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other writers.\r-Make and select photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate material.\r-Study drawings, specifications, mockups, and product samples to integrate and delineate technology, operating procedure, and production sequence and detail.\r-Interview production and engineering personnel and read journals and other material to become familiar with product technologies and production methods.\r-Observe production, developmental, and experimental activities to determine operating procedure and detail.\r-Continue to learn new skills and techniques through in-house training, outside training/coursework, seminars, trade shows and appropriate use of the internet and participate in the training of other members of the engineering team in these skills.\r
-5 – 7 years of experience writing technical documents, training presentations, Engineering Forms, and Engineering Instructions. -Experience with SolidWorks CAD or equivalent is required.\r-Proficient with Adobe Creative Suit or equivalent is required.\r-Foreign language proficiency is desirable.\r-A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
