Description:
This position requires experience writing/editing aircraft and commodity TOs. This includes editing, design, layout, composition, and production of TOs. Individuals must have a thorough working knowledge of governing military specifications for all of the different styles of technical manuals.

Basic Computer Skills w/ MS Office Products. Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Mandatory:
This position requires 1-2 years experience writing aircraft/commodity technical manuals in compliance with Technical Manual Contract Requirements (TMCR) and military specifications. Knowledgeable of MIL-PRF-83495, MIL-PRF-38784, MIL-PRF-38804, and MIL-PRF-38807 specifications. Develop operational and fault isolation manuals. Develop technical order changes based on AFTO 252 and engineering notes. Good writing and oral communication skills
Desirable:
Knowledge of basic tagging structure. Experience with Arbortext Editor. Knowledge of aircraft maintenance and illustration parts breakdown technical orders is desirable. Must be able to multi-task and use daily time management.
