ARA seeks an experienced Technical Writer to provide written summaries of collective material, write position descriptions, and prepare reports based on discussions. The successful candidate researches, organizes, writes, edits, and produces written products for research and development efforts.
Organizes material and writes descriptive copy with clarity, conciseness, style, and correct terminology.
Ensures all assigned documentation is accurate, complete, meets editorial and government specifications and adheres to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style.
This position may participate in the establishment of style guidelines and standards for texts and illustrations.
Must have excellent written communication skills.
Security Clearance Requirements:
TS with SCI eligibility accepted
5 to 7 years of experience (supporting military operations preferred)
Bachelor's Degree but experience can substitute for education
Background in CP and CWMD operations
Previous positions at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA)
Previous support for military operations
