Job Description Description : Candidate will function as an integral member of a team of Government, Military, and Contractor Personnel that provides program, engineering, and technical support to the Project Management Office for Aircraft Survivability Equipment (PMO ASE). PMO ASE is an acquisition management organization under the Program Executive Office for Intelligence, Electronic Warfare & Sensors (PEO IEW&S). The team provides acquisition management support, program research, engineering, logistics, and technical support for the development and fielding of world class aircraft survivability equipment. The candidate will work in the PMO ASE office supporting the organization by being responsible for increasing organizational efficiency and for the organization of program data and information. The candidate will synthesize and evaluate technical and programmatic issues via frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques . The candidate will support the development of processes and process improvement efforts. The Technical Analyst is expected to have an extensive ability to clearly present information; read and interpret complex information; interact with customers, partners, colleagues, and senior management; and resolve issues identified by stakeholders. The candidate will be expected to acquire a detailed knowledge of the organization's operations, policies, procedures, and personnel to be better able to analyze problems, compile and analyze data, and prepare reports\/recommendations. The Technical Analyst will also work with the Project Manager (PM), Product Manager (PdMs), and Assistant Product Managers (APdMs) and will require minimal supervision and, acting on own initiative, anticipate the needs of and provide comprehensive support to the PM, PdMs, and APdMs. The candidate will assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports (including financial and technical). The candidate will work with the data management manager and data management leads to provide support through all lifecycle phases of PMO ASE products. The candidate shall create, draft, and review program documentation including schedules and shall create formal review documentation for presentations. The candidate shall also ensure coordination and information flow between multiple projects within the organization, as well as the coordination and organization of multiple calendars, taskers, and meetings. Qualifications : Education Requirement(s): Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent and 5 years of experience in the defense industry. Experience: \u2022 Ability to work in a dynamic team environment comprised of military, Government and contractor personnel \u2022 Knowledge of the DoD Acquisition and Life Cycle Management System \u2022 Excellent organizational and analytic skills and ability to perform detail- oriented work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priority levels in support of PM, PdMs, and APdMs \u2022 Experience collaborating with multiple departments across the organization utilizing exemplary interpersonal skills \u2022 The ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, and efficient \u2022 A knowledge of project management in order to review technical schedules \u2022 Excellent calendar management skills, including the coordination of meetings \u2022 Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, including report writing \u2022 Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams \u2022 Proficient with Windchill, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) \u2022 An understanding of document workflow procedures \u2022 Self-motivated and customer-oriented Additional Desired Skills: \u2022 Experience in supporting data management \u2022 Experience in supporting configuration management \u2022 Experience communicating with senior staff and leadership \u2022 Experience in technical writing and editing is a plus \u2022 Experience with PEO IEW&S \u2022 Experience with PMO ASE \u2022 Experience with DoD aviation and avionics systems SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Must possess DoD SECRET clearance or have the ability to obtain.
