Working directly with our customer service, finance, legal, internal audit and marketing teams to identify, document and prioritize IT system requirements.
Authoring of Project Vision, Business Requirements, Functional Requirements and Test Case documents (at a minimum)
Critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, and reconciling conflicts.
Analyzing specific requests made by various business to identify underlying true needs.
Defining clear acceptance criteria for development work.
Prioritizing backlog and current requests.
Participating in Agile Scrum sprint planning and review and addressing questions from development team on a day-to-day basis.
Reviewing work completed by development to ensure requirements have been met.
Position will also be responsible for helping craft the Business Analyst role at this organization and mentoring current employee with recent Business Analyst training and certification
5 years working on software development projects as a Business Analyst
Proven experience in technical writing
Strong analytical skills
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Methodical and collaborative approach to problem-solving
Retirement or Financial systems experience as a Business Analyst preferred
Experience with Agile Scrum software development a plus
Experience with Salesforce-related projects a plus
