Description of Duties
CENTRA Technology, Inc. (CENTRA) is an employee-owned company providing analytic, consulting, and staffing support to U.S. Government national security agencies, including the Departments of Homeland Security and Defense, and similar Government clients. CENTRA’s Homeland Security and Risk Analysis Division (HSRAD) is seeking an Explosives Ordinance Disposal (EOD) and Counter-Improvised Explosives (C-IED) subject matter expert (SME) responsible for open source data collection, analysis and production. HSRAD provides a range of homeland security and law enforcement intelligence support, risk analysis and modeling, and program management services to Federal, state, and local agencies. The successful candidate with support the Department of Homeland Security by providing EOD expertise and analysis of explosives, bomb-making materials, including home-made explosive and precursors, and related threat tactics, techniques, and protocols.
: BS/BA degree at a minimum with 4 years of experience as an Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) technician 2 years of analysis experience in supporting C-IED missions, including functioning as a Weapons Technical Intelligence (WTI) analyst, and highly knowledgeable of the global IED threat Expert knowledge of and experience in analysis of IED componentry, manufacturing and implementation, including home-made explosives tactics, techniques, and protocols (TTPs) for bomb threats Experience in writing and editing of technical analytic products Expert in assessment, technical review, and validation of explosives-related content and reporting Strong oral and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience working with Law Enforcement community and/or DHS is highly desired
