Job DescriptionThe NACF EHS Program Manager will be responsible for leading our interactions with all regulatory agencies. In addition, this role is responsible for engaging, collaborating and partnering with technical subject matter experts (SMEs) within EHS and other functions i.e. operations, engineering, Amazon Robotics, RME, purchasing etc. to continually reduce risks and improve network EHS standards and procedures. This technical role is responsible for managing NACF EHS programs (standards, procedures, best practices) development, training and continuous improvement projects. The role involves hands-on work in the areas of understanding stakeholder needs and expectations, EHS regulatory research, stakeholder engagement, data analytics and document technical writing. The individual will be responsible to work collaboratively with SMEs, data analysts and support EHS teams across NACF.
Develop a standard to manage government agency interactions, track relationships, and identify trend areas for improvement.
Stay attuned to changing regulations and internal EHS performance to change standards when required.
Measure business and site performance against published requirements in EHS standards. For all deficiencies, ensure plans are implemented to address areas of weakness.
Work with operations EHS partners and early intervention teams to address deficiencies.

Develop, execute, monitor and continually improve strategic plans and programs for NACF programs improvement.
Serve as a liaison between WW EHS and NACF EHS for continual alignment.
Understand and analyze EHS data and information (e.g. EHS laws, regulations, benchmarking studies, industry best practices) to discover trends to justify the allocation of appropriate resources to areas where risk is highest.
Lead, develop, deploy and support implementation of standards, processes, procedures, guidelines and training as required by regulation, internal Amazon standards, and business growth.
Support building EHS competency and awareness across different business units Lead, develop and deploy a standard method for monitoring work performed by contractors, and consultants, in accordance with EHS standards.
Develop and maintain a standard process to track change management processes for existing EHS standards, processes, procedures and guidelines.
Lead, communicate, educate and drive integration of EHS requirements into all aspects of Amazon operation processes.
Lead process efficiency and compliance effectiveness through process verification and validation plans and the development of process flow diagrams that describe critical process interdependencies with respect to process inputs, outputs, risks and impacts.
Monitor performance of business units against applicable regulatory compliance and internal Amazon standards.
Lead and support continuous improvement projects through failure analysis for non-conformances, and investigates, develops and implements effective and compliant solutions for product and process corrections, retrospective and remediation action plans, and for corrective and preventive actions (CPA Program).

Bachelor\u2019s Degree in safety/industrial/quality engineering, safety or other science or engineering discipline from an accredited university
Must possess a minimum of 7 years\u2019 work experience in EHS, Engineering, Quality and/or Operations with an emphasis in environment, health and safety.
2 years of experience in technical writing procedures, policies and standards, work construction, or training materials, etc.
Experience in managing the following programs: Fall Hazard Control, Electrical Safe Work, Hazardous Energy Control (LOTO), Conveyors and Machine Safeguarding, Dock and Trailer Yard Safety and Yard Management, Pallet Racking, Confined Spaces, Hot Work and System Impairment, Fire Protection Systems, Powered Industrial Trucks and aerial lifts, Cranes, Hoisting and Rigging.
Have a detailed understanding of applicable US EHS regulatory requirements.
Experiencing in deploying automated reporting systems. (ex: Intertek or Gensuite).
Able to travel 20-40%.
Master\u2019s Degree safety/industrial/engineering, safety or other science or engineering discipline from an accredited university
Have or working towards CSP, CIH, NEBOSH, or CHMM certification.
Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certified
Have a detailed understanding of EHS regulatory requirements.
