This person will set the content strategy for Imperva and will plan and manage the\u00A0production of blog posts, e-books, guides, videos and infographics\u00A0used to attract customers and support and accelerate the buyers\u2019 journey. The role involves content\u00A0writing and editing; creation and management of an\u00A0editorial calendar; sourcing ideas for new articles and assets; and coordinating with internal marketing team members, company-wide contributors, contractors, and freelancers.The Senior Content Marketing Manager is responsible for creating compelling content that attracts readers, encourages them to subscribe to our updates, and ultimately builds trust in the brand. This position reports to the Director of Corporate Marketing.\u00A0Key Responsibilities:Create and implement a content marketing strategy\u2014including the development of themes/topics, content creation, curation, and distribution\u2014with the end goals of driving awareness, customer acquisition, and ongoing customer success.Identify the content needed to support and extend marketing initiatives and determine which methods work for the business and why.Serve as blog editorial manager.Ensure all content is, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, point of purchase, mobile, video, print and in-person.Develop and maintain a functional content calendar and define owners in each vertical to particular persona groups.Interact with writers, copyeditors, content strategists; be an arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style.Integrate content activities into PR efforts and traditional and digital marketing campaigns.Work with content owners to revise and measure content to be effective, support marketing goals and drive behavioral metrics.Establish workflow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content.Knowledge and Skills:Strong writing skills\u00A0demonstrated via blog posts and other written workExperience conceiving infographics and writing video or audio scriptsEntrepreneurial thinking\u00A0and the ability to act effectively with only high-level direction is essentialBachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations or related communications fieldAudience development and subscription strategies experience a plus.5 years of writing experience and 3 years of editing experience.
