**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is looking for a Technical Writer to support a federal agency in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will be able to successfully perform the following duties:
ssist senior level executives with conceptualizing complex presentations with heavy technical and policy-driven content.
Work with senior-level executives to develop key messages for high-profile programs and recommend effective communication methods.
Compile, write, revise, up-date, and edit various types of documents, speeches, and presentations, including web content that is compliant with FRA style guidelines and Section 508 requirements.
Collect, research, and analyze information to prepare documentation, including correspondence, web content, and weekly up-dates for Broad Agency Announcements and other related activities.
elop and edit documents and correspondence following FRA’s document and correspondence review processes from the initial inception through final publication.
elop templates for correspondence and other documents.
anage, route, and track correspondence and other documentation to ensure appropriate input and review.
ake necessary corrections in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and format to ensure all documents are up-dated, free of errors, and follow writing guidelines in FRA style guides and the
United States Government Printing Office Style Manual.
Ensure documents are 508 compliant and attach appropriate meta tags to documents.
Utilize desktop publishing software to produce publication-ready materials in both hardcopy and electronic copy formats.
Work with reviewers to ensure technical accuracy and overall quality of written materials.
Bachelor’s Degree and five (5) years of experience in a similar role.
The ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
