OfficeTeam is searching for a Customs Entry Writer for our client in the Logistics Industry! The Customs Entry Writer will be responsible for all aspects of the clearance process. The Customs Entry Writer position requires at least one year of experience in a similar role. Training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities: • Preparation of customs documents and entry filing with US Customs • Respond to internal and external inquiries • Maintain accurate customer records, computer filings, reporting, documents, etc • Collaborate effectively with all stakeholders • Maintain accurate billing records for all assigned customers • Trace shipments and communicate/troubleshoot issues • Review invoices, packing slips, etc • Use Harmonized Tariff Schedule as needed • Demonstrate understanding of individual customer expectations and business models • Utilize reporting structure to elevate discrepancies as needed Qualifications: • At least one year of experience in a similar role • Ability to jungle multiple projects and handle stressful situations • High level of honesty and professional integrity • Confidence with basic math skills and Excel • Ability to communicate with a variety of people of various levels, inside and outside of the company • Clear and consistent communication, both written and verbal If you are interested in this position, please email your resume to [Click Here to Email Your Resumé]
