.Cyber Security Technical WriterDuration: 12 month contractLocation: Owings Mills, MDOverview: The CRS Group is currently looking for a Cyber Security Technical Writer for one of our clients in the Owings Mills area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations. Job Description:The Cyber Security Technical Writer will work closely with the departmental Team Manager and Project Manager to develop process and procedure documentsThe Technical Writer will gather the necessary information from appropriate internal team members, applicable policies and standards, and best practices to support the development, writing, formatting, and editing cyber security related processes and proceduresThe Technical Writer will work closely with the entities to coordinate, plan, and successfully create the defined Vulnerability Management process and procedure documents under the guidance of CISS leadershipDuties and Responsibilities:Create and revise process and procedure documents for Vulnerability Management TeamDraft, edit, and format process and procedure documents, project artifacts, data flow diagrams and data governance documentation as applicableWork with project management, team leadership, senior leadership, various stakeholders, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop clear documentation on processes, procedures, and other artifactsEdit content for grammatical correctness and adapt it to different audiences, produce a single voice, or improve the content and layoutActively participate in detailed discussions with project management, team leadership, SMEs, various stakeholders, and senior management to exceed team needs and expectationsAssist manager and team with other technical writing tasks as neededQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or a related discipline, and typically 3-5 or more years of solid, diverse experience in cyber security, or equivalent combination of education and work experienceProcess and Procedure definition and documentation experienceExtensive knowledge and understanding of professional technical writing processes and toolsAdvanced Microsoft Office skillsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsExperience managing communications and documentation projectsAbility to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple prioritiesKnowledge and understanding of technical documentation: creation of detailed design and technical artifactsKnowledge and understanding of operational processesStrong research and documentation skillsAbility to present complex material in a digestible, consumable manner to all levels of managementAbility to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are importantcrs_avelasquezss #81427Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
