What you’ll do:
T-Rex Solutions, LLC is actively seeking a Proposal Writer to join our growing team located in Greenbelt, MD. This is a heavy technical writer role.
Provides proposal support for all phases of the Business Development lifecycle (Qualification, Capture & Proposal)
Interfaces with a wide range of personnel, including senior leadership, SME’s, capture/project managers, volume leads, and/or designated authors to facilitate the efficient and effective development of proposals.
Analyzes solicitations (RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs) to identify and employ proposal instruction requirements.
Participates in kickoff meetings, team meetings, and proposal reviews.
Collaborates with technical subject matter experts (SME’s) to collect and employ subject material for proposal development.
Collects, organizes, and integrates proposal inputs from various sources, as well as, assembling proposal volumes, tables, exhibits, and/or attachments.
Develops and updates technical content and documentation.
Reviews proposal content to determine compliance with RFP requirements.
Edits proposal content for accuracy, grammar, and writing style.
Updates and tailors past performance information and write-ups for proposals including job postings and resumes
Formats proposal documents using Microsoft Word.
Participates in all aspects of the proposal production process (i.e. “white glove” check, printing, copying, binding, and packaging).
Supports timeliness, compliance, and overall quality of all proposals delivered.
Updates and maintains the proposal database and content library.
Periodically working evening and weekend hours, sometimes on short notice, as required.
What you’ll bring:
Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in English, Business, Marketing, or similar discipline)
5 years of proposal writing, editing and management experience (preferably in Cybersecurity, IT Operations, and Cloud services)
Possess solid understanding of the Federal procurement/proposal process
Significant experience providing direct support for the full range of procurement-related requirements (Sources Sought/RFIs, Task Order Responses, RFPs, IDIQs, etc.)
Familiar with online business development sources (i.e. GovWin, FedBizOpps, ARC)
Demonstrated ability to outline, write and edit Technical, Management and Past Performance volumes/sections
Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced, proposal deadline-driven environment
Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Word other Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint and Adobe Acrobat.
A 2 to 3-page writing sample is required (with proprietary information redacted)
