This position will work to drive inbound, organic traffic to Pearson Online & Blended Learningu2019s website properties while improving our Connections Academy and related partner schoolsu2019 search engine results. The Sr. SEO Administrator will work both independently and collaboratively in support of the family marketing department to assure projects and tactics are completed smoothly, accurately, and delivered on-time. The position requires in-depth knowledge of SEO tactics and best practices, knowledge of web analytics and tracking tools, strong writing skills, some proficiency with website/blog content management systems, combined with a meticulous attention to detail and dedication to excellence. This person should be able to simultaneously manage diverse projects in a busy, cross-functional production environment. Primary Responsibilities: Support day-to-day administration of search engine optimization (SEO) campaigns and tactics of Pearson Online & Blended Learning consumer branded website properties and landing pages. Identify new keywords to target on search engines (i.e. Google, Bing) and to improve rankings on existing keywords to increase the number of families acquired through non-media efforts and contribute to reductions in marketing cost per enrollment. Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords. Assist in the creation, implementation and execution of SEO strategies and roadmaps. Develop and implement link building strategies. Conduct research on web page design and technical functionality specific to optimizing for improved site speed performance. Draft and write effective SEO content for blogs, websites as needed. Work and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including enrollment, product development & analytics to ensure success of SEO strategies and roadmaps. Work with website development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on all new website functionality. Coordinate and manage SEO agency and related vendors. Serve as subject-matter expert in SEO; continuously learn and keep abreast on latest best-practices and trends in the organic search engine landscape. Train website administrators, as well as brand, PR, content and creative design marketers on SEO practices and tactics. Review website content performance and perform regular competitive research on top performing pages. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
