Marketing Writer Jobs description
A marketing writer may be available with a marketing agency or an online marketing firm. A marketing writer is responsible for writing marketing support documents or articles in order to appeal to the prospects of company’s products and services. Specific duties of a marketing writer position include writing marketing content for brochures, user manuals, marketing documents or website content; preparing drafts for the above mentioned purpose; getting drafts approved by the supervisor; projecting the right image of the agency or the client in the write-ups; staying abreast with marketing trends and terminology; working independently as required and performing other tasks assigned by the marketing manager. A marketing writer typically reports to a marketing manager.A marketing writer should have a bachelor’s degree in journalism or marketing. Excellent academic credentials are essential. Prior experience working as a marketing writer is essential.
